At the end of last week, Facebook added a new system for ‘tagging’ friends in photos via the site. Facebook has acquired the application – Divvyshot, which allows users to instantly tag their friends without clicking on them in the actual photo. This new feature will automatically detect faces in the photos and prompt you to select the friend who’s face it is.
Although this is a minor improvement to the ‘tagging’ friends task, it allows users to spend less time uploading photos, which was in my opinion, a pain in the rear. Divvyshot has also more improvements currently in ‘the works’ for Facebook’s photo application.
Say adios to point and click, tagging friends just got a whole lot easier!
